Sue is the Owner of Caring Fur Canines Grooming Salon.

After 23 years as an early childhood education teacher she decided it was time for a change and took the leap into a second career in dog grooming. After finishing grooming school she worked as an apprentice for several months and has been grooming since 2012.

After working in a few different salons she decided it was time to venture out on her own. With the encouragement of a co-worker and support of her husband the search for the perfect location was on. She found the quaintness in the Village of Brookfield to be ideal.

After several months of remodeling an existing grooming shop Caring Fur Canines opened its doors in August 2018.

She loves being able to groom in a salon that is quite and clean, and that she, her team, and most importantly the dogs, can feel safe and comfortable. Sue always knew that she wanted to give the dogs one on one attention, not feel rushed, or have dogs waiting a long time. That is exactly the environment she provides!

In her free time she loves to craft, garden, go on mini vacations with her husband or friends. Sue has a cat named Pogo and recently her 13 year old beautiful German Shepard, Urshula crossed the rainbow bridge and is dearly missed.
