Sue is the Owner of Caring Fur Canines Grooming Salon.

After 23 years as an early childhood education teacher she decided it was time for a change and took the leap into a second career in dog grooming. After finishing grooming school she worked as an apprentice for several months and has been grooming since 2012.

After working in a few different salons she decided it was time to venture out on her own. With the encouragement of a co-worker and support of her husband the search for the perfect location was on. She found the quaintness in the Village of Brookfield to be ideal.

After several months of remodeling an existing grooming shop Caring Fur Canines opened its doors in August 2018.

She loves being able to groom in a salon that is quite and clean, and that she, her team, and most importantly the dogs, can feel safe and comfortable. Sue always knew that she wanted to give the dogs one on one attention, not feel rushed, or have dogs waiting a long time. That is exactly the environment she provides!

In her free time she loves to craft, garden, go on mini vacations with her husband or friends and play with her German Shepard, Urshula.

Tabatha began her grooming career in 1990 as a bather.

She worked as an apprentice and was trained on breed profiles and the techniques needed to obtain a correct trim. Tabatha set a goal and continued her education to become a Nationally Certified Master Groomer (NCMG) and has attained this certification for over 10 years.

She has competed both nationally and locally in dog grooming competitions, winning multiple times throughout her career.

Tabatha is enthusiastic about her profession. She uses her knowledge and experience to help train other groomers as they refine and expand their skills.

Education is important to Tabatha and she frequently attends conferences and seminars. She loves that she can make friends with the pups she grooms and the humans that love them.

In her free time she enjoys her dogs Peekaboo and Halo, crafting with friends and spending time with her granddaughters and family.
